Nallamada: The “Service to the Poor 2.0” program was launched in Nallamada on Thursday, highlighting welfare schemes and rural development.
District officials detailed initiatives like free medical tests via ‘104’ vehicles, the ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ educational support, and agricultural funds under ‘Annadatha Sukhibhava’. Leaders also spotlighted major economic drivers, including a Rs 1 lakh crore Horticulture Hub and the Rs 15,000 crore BHEL-ADA project.
Local leaders urged public participation in safeguarding community assets, while community mentors acting as ‘Margadarsis’ were felicitated. RDO Suvarna, Tahsildar Manoj Kumar Reddy, and local residents participated.
