Body Of Climber Nirmal Purja Found From Broad Peaks In Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan

The body of renowned Nepalese-British mountaineer Nirmal Purja was discovered by rescuers after he was whisked away in an avalanche with nine other climbers on Broad Peak in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, three days ago. His dead body was found by the rescuers on Sunday.
The Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) said the body of 43-year-old mountaineer was found around 5700 metres above sea level, PTI news agency said. The club posted on social media, saying, "The ground rescue team has reached Nims Dai (Purja) at approximately 5,700m on Broad Peak—a mountain he loved, and a mountain that has now taken him from us." Three more bodies were reportedly seen at the altitude, according to the ACP, though their names are yet unknown.
Purja's expedition organisation announced earlier today that the deaths of all ten climbers were confirmed. The Alpine Club of Pakistan reports that five climbers' bodies have been found thus far. It stated that attempts are being made to find the other five.
