A minor girl went missing on Sunday morning but was found murdered under suspicious conditions on Monday. The body was found under the police station limits of Meerpet.
The 14-year-old girl, identified as Vaishnavi, was a student of Class VIII and her parents had lodged a missing complaint on Sunday evening.
They stated that Vaishnavi left home at 6 am in the morning for the morning walk and did not return.
The body has been shifted to Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case has been registered and the police have begun the investigation.
