Telangana woman gravely injured in road mishap in US

A Telangana woman has been gravely injured in a road accident which took place near Chicago city in the United States on Saturday midnight. As per the reports, the woman Udutha Swarna, hailing from Kusumanchi, Khammam district has been put on the ventilator and is battling for life in cook county’s John H Stroger Jr Hospital.

Swarna is learned to have been returning back home after watching a movie with her family when the mishap occurred. While her husband Kiran Kumar is reported safe, her daughter Bindhu suffered injuries in the accident. Another couple traveling in the car also suffered minor injuries.

Swarna’s husband Kiran Kumar works as a Software engineer and moved to Chicago, a year ago while Swarna and her daughter Bindhu flew to the USA four months ago. Chicago police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
