The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is getting ready to come out. It just showed up in some records, from the FCC with the model number SM-S741U. This means that the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE launch is really close now.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has shown up in FCC certification records with the model number SM-S741U which means that the launch is getting closer. The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is getting closer and closer to being released as the phone has recently been found in FCC certification papers. The information shows that Samsung is getting ready to introduce its "Fan Edition" model soon and recent statements from the company also suggest a launch later this year.

FCC Filing Confirms Model Details

FCC documentation lists the model number SM-S741U and links the device to the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, aligning with earlier leaks. The document also confirms support for 45W wired charging, matching a previous UL Demko leak and suggesting that Samsung will retain the same charging speeds found in the previous FE model.

Following FCC certification, and according to a CNET report, Samsung confirmed during a call that it plans to launch the Galaxy S26 FE and the Tab S12 Android tablet later this year. They will arrive alongside new foldable models and the latest version of the Watch Ultra, positioning the Galaxy S26 FE as the final member of the Galaxy S26 family.

Thanks to numerous leaks, we can already form a fairly clear picture of the features the Galaxy S26 FE might offer. Reports point to a 6.7-inch display, an Exynos 2500 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a 4,900 mAh battery, and 45W wired charging, as well as shipping with One UI 9 based on Android 17.

All of this matches with the classic look of Galaxy Fan Edition phones. Basically the FE series gives a cheap Galaxy S top model that takes many parts from the high-end version while Samsung tries to save money wherever they can. The Galaxy S25 FE came out in India this year for 59,999 rupees. With memory prices and usual changes from one model to the next the new FE might end up costing between 75,000 and 80,000 rupees—just a little less than the Galaxy S26, which now starts at, about 87,999 rupees.

This is the part where we talk about the price of the Samsung S26 FE. If Samsung says you have to pay around 80,000 rupees for the S26 FE it does not seem like a difference from the S25 FE that people are selling at a lower price. But for people who really like Samsung and want the One UI and updates that come out for a long time and they also like the way the S-series phones look, the S26 FE is still a good choice because it is a bit cheaper than the other S26 phones. The Samsung S26 FE gives these people a way to buy an S26 phone without spending much money.
