Hyderabad to receive rains on Tuesday, yellow alert issued

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Hyderabad, forecasting thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rainfall as the Southwest Monsoon remains active across Telangana.
The Southwest Monsoon is on the prowl and with the current weather condition, the Meterological Centre has issued a yellow alert warning for Hyderabad. The weather department said that there are chances of scattered thunderstorm activity with moderate to heavy rainfall on Tuesday.
The weather department also announced with light rains expected at isolated places with cloudy sky. Moreover, the region witnessed heavy downpours on Monday as the charge of cumulonimbus clouds increased.
Hyderabad and North Telangana were also witnessed heavy rains on Monday. In addition, Kamareddy recorded the highest rainfall at 18.2 cm while Vikarabad and Sangareddy also witnessed heavy downpours.
