‘LENIN’ OTT release: Akhil Akkineni’s blockbuster set to stream on ZEE5 from August 7

After registering as Akhil Akkineni’s biggest blockbuster, the movie LENIN will now be available for streaming on ZEE5 from August 7. The action-pacy rural entertainer has been garnering appreciative reactions from critics and has had a tremendous viewership worldwide.

LENIN, directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, stars Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse leads this star-studded Mahanati starrer ensemble cast that comprises Sivaji, Sunil, Easwari Rao, Brahmaji, Getup Srinu, Ramki and Pramod Panju. Nagarjuna Akkineni and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi produced the film under the Manam Enterprises and Sithara Entertainments banners. S. Thaman has scored the music while Leon Britto has captured the visuals and Navin Nooli has edited the film.

Set against the backdrop of rural Andhra Pradesh, LENIN narrates the story of a young hero who gets bogged down in his personal life before embarking on an all-out war against the system. This mass-y potboiler has doses of romance, drama, family emotions, commercialism, and laughter. It is a love triangle cum father-son saga with shades of adventure sprinkled in it all along.

The film saw packed houses throughout its theatrical run, and the audience members have reacted positively to Akhil Akkineni, Murali Kishor Abburu’s performance and S. Thaman’s music. It has been Akhil’s highest-grossing film ever after being a massive success.

With this addition, Telugu ZEE5 has now more of its blockbuster content and original programming that continues to contribute significantly to ZEE’s digital growth.
