Mohan Babu makes nothing with ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’; eyes strong comeback with ‘The Paradise’

Veteran actor Mohan Babu is set to make the most of a career-best comeback with an important role in Nani and Srikanth Odela starrer, The Paradise. As the action-packed entertainer is all set for a September 24 release in theatres, the spotlight turns to Mohan Babu who has struggled to gain any mileage with his recent film Srinivasa Mangapuram.

Mohan Babu was last seen in Srinivasa Mangapuram, a film in which he played a pivotal role alongside his nephew, Mahesh Babu starrer Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni’s debut film. But it seems that the character failed to leave a lasting impression on viewers.

However, the excitement around Mohan Babu will be seen in The Paradise, as he plays the role of a terror chief Shikanja Maalik. A first-look poster of the actor along with the first teaser of the film was released, in which he has appeared to have got great appreciation.

Ever since the makers of The Paradise announced his association with the film, the fans and trade have been waiting for his role to unfold. It has been a while since Mohan Babu delivered a career-best performance.

In fact, the actor was seen in an iconic role in legendary director S.S. Rajamouli’s fantasy superhero film Yamadonga, where he had essayed the role of Lord Yama opposite Jr NTR. Now, director Srikanth Odela has an immense responsibility to deliver a career-best performance from Mohan Babu, which would give the veteran actor a much-needed boost to his career.

If all goes well, it will be yet another feather in the cap for the actor as he looks forward to having a meaningful role in The Paradise.
