Construction of Andhra Pradesh’s capital, Amaravati, is progressing rapidly after several years of inactivity. Permanent government buildings, including those of the High Court, Secretariat and the iconic complex, are advancing swiftly.
Commercial banks, insurance companies, and government housing projects are also taking shape, while several deemed universities have established campuses.
The coalition government plans to build an international airport and a railway station, raising hopes that Amaravati will soon emerge as a world-class capital benefiting the state’s people.
