Need for faster execution

With Amaravati’s construction advancing, analysts urge for an accelerated pace to meet the 2028 deadline. Explore the importance of prioritizing infrastructure for land-pooling farmers to ensure equitable growth in Andhra Pradesh's capital.

While capital Amaravati’s works are progressing, the pace remains slow at around two per cent per month.

To achieve the government’s 2028 completion target, the execution must increase to at least seven to eight per cent every month.

At the same time, the government should prioritise the development of farmers’ returnable plots by providing infrastructure and faster building approvals, ensuring that land-pooling farmers also benefit from the capital’s growth.
