Hyderabad: All departments must work in coordination and take swift action at the field level to build a clean, safe, green and well-planned Malkajgiri, said Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy during a comprehensive field inspection of Dammaiguda and Jawaharnagar wards on Monday. The Commissioner inspected MLR Colony, VMS Homes, Pochammagudi, Dammaiguda old village and Sai Prasanna Colony.
During the inspection, he directed Engineering Department officials to expedite the road construction work from Satyanarayana Colony to the Sri Sai Indraprabha Colony Gate. He also reviewed the condition of the sluice gate at Indiramma Cheruvu and instructed Irrigation Department officials to undertake immediate repairs in view of the ongoing monsoon. The Commissioner further ordered temporary wet mix repairs to the approach road leading to Pochammagudi before the Bonalu festival, followed by the construction of a permanent cement concrete (CC) road. Reviewing commercial establishments, Vinay Krishna Reddy instructed bill collectors and sanitary field assistants (SFAs) to verify trade licences of all shops and commercial establishments. He directed officials to ensure immediate renewal of expired licences and warned that strict action would be taken against businesses operating without valid trade licenses.
