Nagarkurnool: The Government Arts and Commerce Degree College organized a ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ (Drug-Free India) awareness programme on Sunday, during which students watched a video address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the dangers of drug abuse.
Addressing the youth through the video message, the Prime Minister urged students to stay away from narcotic substances and focus on building a bright future.
He cautioned that drug addiction not only destroys an individual’s life but also affects families, friends, and society at large.
He stressed that India’s progress depends on the skills, patriotism, and vision of its youth and called upon them to actively contribute to nation-building.
The programme was held under the guidance of College Principal Dr. K. Geethanjali, who encouraged students to remain disciplined, patriotic, and socially responsible.
Faculty members Hazira, Praveen, Deepika, Sudhakar, Hussain, and Bilkis attended the programme along with a large number of students.
