Drone survey begins for Settipalli model township in Tirupati

Tirupati: The Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) has initiated a drone survey across 223.63 acres to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Settipalli Model Township.

TUDA Chairman Dr C Divakar Reddy inspected the survey work, which is being executed by Hyderabad-based NCPE Infrastructure India Pvt. Ltd., on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Divakar Reddy reiterated the authority’s commitment to fulfilling Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s promise of handing over physical plot possession to beneficiaries, noting that registration is almost complete.

He explained that the DPR will outline essential civic infrastructure, including CC roads, stormwater drains, drinking water supply, an electrical substation, underground drainage, a sewage treatment plant (STP), and an electrical/gas crematorium.

Additionally, it will incorporate master plan roads connecting the layout directly to Mangalam Road and Renigunta Road.

TUDA Secretary Dr NV Sreekanth Babu noted that the township is poised to become a prime residential hub in Tirupati due to planned development and quality infrastructure.

Superintending Engineer K Ravindraiah, Assistant Planning Officer Vasudeva Naidu, and Structural Engineer K Ravikumar were present during the inspection.
