BJP State Chief Spokesperson Valluru Jayaprakash Narayana defends CM Chandrababu Naidu and Dy CM Pawan Kalyan for thanking PM Modi at Bhogapuram airport launch.
Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Chief Spokesperson Valluru Jayaprakash Narayana criticised CPI National Secretary K Ramakrishna for objecting to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Jayaprakash Narayana said thanking the Prime Minister for the Centre’s support to the state was neither political opportunism nor personal praise, but a rightful acknowledgement of the Union Government’s contribution to the State’s development.
He said the Modi-led Central Government has extended significant support for the state’s reconstruction through projects such as Amaravati, the Polavaram National Project, national highways, railway infrastructure, ports, airports, industrial corridors and Central welfare schemes.
