Health Minister chairs meeting to strengthen government hospitals and improve patient care

Nizamabad: The Telangana government on Monday reviewed healthcare services in government hospitals across Nizamabad district during a meeting chaired by Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha at the Telangana Secretariat. Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir, district MLAs and senior Health Department officials attended the meeting to discuss measures aimed at strengthening the public healthcare system.

The review focused on improving hospital infrastructure, expanding medical services, filling vacancies for doctors, nurses and other healthcare personnel, and ensuring the availability of essential facilities in government hospitals. Officials also assessed the challenges affecting healthcare delivery and discussed strategies to enhance patient care across the district.

Speaking at the meeting, Mohammed Ali Shabbir reiterated the government’s commitment to providing affordable, accessible and quality healthcare to every citizen. He said the state is taking concrete steps to modernise government hospitals and improve healthcare services. Bodhan MLA Sudarshan Reddy, Banswada MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Nizamabad Rural MLA Bhupathi Reddy, Balkonda MLA Vemula Prashanth Reddy and senior officials also shared suggestions for strengthening healthcare infrastructure and addressing the district’s medical needs.
