MLA KR Nagaraju visits ailing tribal hostel students, assures better care
Wardhannapet legislator visits hospital, reviews treatment and promises measures to prevent recurrence
Hanumakonda: Wardhannapet MLA and retired IPS officer KR Nagaraju visited the Government Area Hospital in Hanamkonda on Monday to enquire about the health of students from the ST Tribal Girls Hostel who were admitted after falling ill.
The MLA interacted with the students, encouraged them and directed doctors to provide the best possible treatment. He appreciated the prompt response of the medical staff and asked hospital authorities to closely monitor the students until their full recovery.
Expressing concern over the incident, Nagaraju said he would discuss the matter with the District Collector and senior officials to determine the cause of the illness and ensure preventive measures are implemented. He also announced that he would soon inspect the hostel to review facilities and identify steps to improve student amenities.
According to doctors, none of the students are in danger and all are expected to recover by Monday night or Tuesday morning. Nagaraju also spoke to the parents, assuring them that their children were receiving proper medical care.
