Freedom needs accountability: Kangana Ranaut after conversation with Gen-Z girls

Actress Kangana Ranaut once again talks about her recent statements regarding youth. The politician- turned- actress responded to the controversy by saying that she found herself agreeing with the two young girls who spoke to her at the gym about her comments.

Kangana shared the girls’ response to their exchange on stories for Friendship Day. She reported that the girls said that they were born into the digital age and that they could not imagine a life without social media, dating apps, or AI.

“They said that this technology is embedded in their daily lives,” she continued.

“Therefore, I feel that people have a fundamental right to choose and lead the life they desire as long as it does not affect or hurt others. Freedom comes with accountability,” Kangana added. The actress also shared that the girls had mentioned several high-profile violent crimes that had occurred recently, such as the Ketan Agarwal case and the blue drum case. Kangana stated that she believed these crimes showed that freedom needs accountability. She added that the girls had eventually started to agree with her stance on the matter.

Kangana ended the post by wishing her Gen-Z friends a happy friendship day and signing off with a peace sign.

Kangana’s recent comments follow after she was heavily criticized for her gutter generation remark. The actress has repeatedly criticized the younger generation for their differing views from hers and often expressed her disapproval on social media. Nevertheless, her opinions about freedom and responsibility seem to be still very relevant.
