Actress Nauheed Cyrusi has opened up about a challenging period in her life, which involved two miscarriages before she decided to change her life priorities and devote herself to animal welfare instead of trying to have children. The star shared the emotional story on her Instagram page, where she also posted a video.
Nauheed stated that she got married in 2017 and had her first child the following year, but unfortunately, in the third month of her pregnancy, the doctors discovered that the fetus had no heartbeat. After grieving over the loss of her child, the actress and her husband decided to adopt an old dog named Jojo from the SPCA.
She further revealed that she became pregnant again during the COVID-19 pandemic but, unfortunately, lost the baby once more. According to the star, this tragedy prompted her and her husband to contemplate the meaning of their life and realize that they could make a difference by helping animals in need, rather than trying to have more children.
Nauheed added that she had never considered undergoing IVF treatments because she believed that if fate had destined her to have a child, then it would happen naturally. At the moment, the actress has accepted her decision to devote herself to animal welfare instead of having children while in her forties.
According to Nauheed, she and her husband have been quietly helping and caring for animals for quite some time, adding that this is their way of making a difference. The star’s honest words about her emotional struggles resonated with many of her followers, who praised her for sharing such a heartfelt story.
