Nasr School Hosts All-India Inter-School Debate Competition 2026

Hyderabad: Nasr School, Hyderabad, hosted the Frank Anthony Memorial All-India Inter-School Debate Competition 2026 (Category II, Stage I), bringing together school students for a debate focused on public speaking, argumentation and analytical thinking.
The competition featured participation from students representing various schools. The proceedings were adjudicated by Suchitha Rao, Dr Prapurna Inaganti and Masooma, while Fiona Harold served as the moderator.
The participating students presented their arguments before the audience, demonstrating preparation, clarity of thought and familiarity with the issues under discussion. The debate provided participants an opportunity to develop and demonstrate skills in public speaking, reasoning and presenting structured arguments.
The judges shared their observations with the participants following the competition and highlighted aspects of clarity, presentation and intellectual engagement in the debates.
Mir Mohiuddin Mohammed, Principal, Nasr School, congratulated the participating students and noted the role of debate competitions in helping young people develop communication and leadership skills.
The event concluded with the announcement of the results by the Principal. The competition provided students with a platform to engage in structured discussion, listen to differing viewpoints and present their positions before an audience and a panel of judges. The event was attended by school representatives, teachers, students and other members of the school community.
